Hey Dawn. I just got a (used)copy of your first "What A Woman Wants To Hear", and I am even more blown away than with the second one. haha
As I get older (and my ear gets better), I more appreciate the depth and range of your vocal talents and the incredibly deep well from which it springs. I wish I had heard of you while I was still in a band so we could do more of your covers. As it was, we only did two..."Runaway Train", and "Close Up The Honkytonks", but even ten years ago, no one around here had ever heard of you, and sadly, that is still true for the most part, except for country music purists or musicians. I saw you at the NYS Fair with Vince Gill for my first exposure, and after that the band was determined to get some recorded music and play it out.
I had WAWWTH in my boombox that comes on at 4:30 am everyday, and now it's in my car, so I can hear more than just the first four songs. Otherwise, I'd just lie there, and not get up at all and drive that school bus! haha
Do you tour anymore, and if so, could I please have an updated schedule? I'd travel a long distance to see you, and would count it good fortune to be able to see you in concert halfway across the country! I think you are one of the only great female country voices left anymore! Thank you for keeping the great traditional music alive.!!!
